MatchKundalis.com ("MatchKundalis", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Jyotish Research, runs the website matchkundalis.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Birth details you provide. To calculate a compatibility report, we collect the date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth of the two individuals ("Boy" and "Girl" in the form) whose horoscopes are being matched, along with any name fields you optionally enter to label the report. This information is used solely to perform the astrological calculation and to generate your PDF report — it is not used for any other purpose.
Payment information. When you purchase a compatibility report, payment is processed entirely by Razorpay, our payment gateway partner. We do not collect, see, or store your card number, UPI ID, net-banking credentials, or any other payment credential on our own servers. We receive only a payment confirmation and transaction reference from Razorpay to confirm your order.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our server logs may record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, for security and diagnostic purposes.
Cookies. We use only the minimal cookies necessary for the Service to function (e.g., remembering that a report has been paid for during your session) and, where enabled, standard analytics cookies (see below). We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
Analytics. We may use a web analytics service (such as Google Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — for example, which pages are visited and how the site performs. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
How We Use Information
- To perform the astrological calculation you requested and generate your report.
- To process your payment via Razorpay and confirm your order.
- To respond if you contact support.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the Service.
- To understand aggregate usage of the Service so we can improve it.
We do not sell birth details, contact information, or any personal data to third parties. We do not use the birth details you submit for any purpose beyond generating the report you requested.
Data Storage and Retention
Birth details submitted for a free calculation are processed to generate the on-screen result and are not retained beyond what is technically necessary to serve that request. For a purchased report, the birth details and generated PDF are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle support requests (e.g., a failed download) and applicable tax/accounting record-keeping requirements, after which they are deleted. We do not maintain a searchable public or private database of past reports.
Data Security
We use industry-standard measures — including HTTPS encryption in transit and access-restricted server infrastructure — to protect the information you submit. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable, appropriate steps to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
Third-Party Services
- Razorpay (payment processing) — governed by Razorpay's own privacy policy for the payment data it handles directly.
- Hosting/infrastructure providers used to run the Service, who process data only as necessary to operate the Service on our behalf.
- Analytics providers, if enabled, as described above.
We do not share your birth details with any of these third parties beyond what is technically required for the specific function they perform (e.g., Razorpay never receives birth details; hosting providers never receive payment credentials).
Your Rights

Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for use by adults seeking marriage compatibility information for themselves or on behalf of family members, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" above will be updated whenever changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
